Just-For-Fun Friday: Edgy Hairstyles
Remember when Victoria Beckham and Rihanna's hair, Vob and Rob, started the asymmetrical bob movement? And how we all thought it was all so incredibly edgy and stylish? Well, times have changed. These days, it takes a lot of envelope pushing for anyone to constitute a hairstyle as edgy.

Bangs aren't cutting-edge anymore. The current trend Bellasugar is predicting for the moment is blonde-toned bangs.

Personally, I love this Schwarzkopf version of the trend. I'd rock that! :)

Speaking of colour, streaks of random pink or blue won't turn heads as much as a bed of locks colour blocked would!

And like the mullet Hayley Williams is sporting above, a slew of celebrities have also been keeping the trend rock steady. My colleague Didi has one, and she's affectionately named hers 'fullet' (short for female mullet).

A lot closer to home, Arabyrd totally rocks out in her bowl-haircut. For years, I've always thought the bowl was for trolls. Perhaps that perception stems from it being my old chemistry teacher's staple haircut. But after seeing it on Arabyrd, I have hope for it!
I've also been very curious about a bob 'fro, ala the makeover Elina got on ANTM Cycle 11. I believe if you're fierce, you can pull anything off.

Right now, I'm struggling to grow my hair mono-length long. Reasons being, it hasn't gone past my shoulders since 2003. And I miss having long hair! But once I do grow it long, I'm going to cut my hair like Cassie, no matter what people say! Then I'm going to get my head tattooed too!

What about you? If nothing was stopping you (loss of job, parents freaking out), what haircut would you try on? What styles do you know you can't pull off? Why do you think such unconventional hair styles are becoming so appealing right now?
