I think I would like my proposal to require super duper ultra efforts and really elaborate and exaggerated.

Think what, wanna marry me very easy is it! Of course must put in effort! Simple dinner and ring in wine thing does not work on me. It just shows your love if your proposal is just so simply done.

would it be weird if i really want my other half to propose to me while in front of my parents and my brother. that will show how sincere he is to me. oh my, when it happens, i think i'll ran to the kitchen of embarrassment.

but its romantic, sure thing!

I would like to be proposed by someone that i love. No need expensive ring or dinner. As long proposed from the bottom of heart. Just be yourself and no need to be someone else.

i want it to happen at the moment that i cherish a lot ie. like, waking up late and having warm breakfast at home, or watching dvd cuddling up on the sofa. what's must is a Tiffany diamond ring :D that would totally make me happy!

I've always been one who loves the everyday simple things in a relationship, from dinner at home, lounging on the couch to pillow fights.

I'd be happy to be proposed to on one of our everyday routines, be it over dinner at home, or time out with close family and friends. In my ideal proposal, the man is more important than the delivery.

As I love being a movie goer and watch any and every movie kinda girl, I would expect a proposal with a relevance to what I love doing (other then shopping of course)

As I sit down with my sneaked in fav bubble tea and comfortably resting my head on his shoulder as usual, he knows I do look at all the advertisements as I am from the industry itself.

All of a sudden, a rather new and unfamiliar advert plays, and I soon realize its a video documentary of all the times we spent together with videos, pictures and our songs through the years. It then ends with my fav song 'collide' and where he gets down on one knee and proposes to me.

He should know my besties play an important role in my life, therefore, when I look around, all my friends were actually in the hall itself too :)

This would be kinda unrealistic kinda proposal but a girl can always dream :)

ps: if this happens, expect me to cry like a baby. haha (keeping fingers crossed)

I'm married, actually next month will be our 1st anniversary. =) This may not be a direct answer to the question of how I'd like to be proposed but it is how I was and I thought I'd just give it a shot.

It was actually by suprise as my then bf told me he was taking me on a trip to Bkt Tinggi (French Village) in Pahang. Excited as I was, I packed and we headed to a 2 day stay. The whole day was spent sight-seeing, relaxing and by night, he took me to one of the French/Italian restaurants and we dined there. Halfway through to dinner, I headed to the restroom and when I returned he asked if I would marry him. And I laughed it off saying yeah yeah, you've had quite a few. He then repeated himself and said I'm serious. Me, not taking him seriously and just giggling away said yeah I will and we cheers-ed to it (me still being not-serious), took a sip of my wine and there it was. THE ring!

Gosh, did I panic. Or rather I instantaniously realised he was not kidding and was slightly nervous. He removed the ring from the glass and popped the question again and of course this time I said yes! seriously. =) It may have been a simple proposal but the effort he put into taking me on that trip and spending our time together was memorable. To top it all, he proposed on the seventh of july two-thousand seven. (070707)

A very well thought of proposal and I'm the happiest! =)
