Pavilion KL Named World's Best Retail Centre
Pavilion KL has been awarded the prestigious FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Award 2009, officially recognising it as a world-class retail project! Beating 26 other international entries, the award takes into account excellence in architecture and design, development and construction, community benefits and environmental impact, and financial and marketing.
An estimated 48 million visitors have visited the mall since its opening two years ago, helping to give Malaysia's retail economy a major boost. I wouldn't be surprised if many of you reading this contributed to that boost as well!
Despite operating at 100% occupancy with 450 tenants, we can still look forward to a few new stores in the coming months due to creation of more leasing space - van Laack, Swarovski, Tumi, and Austin Chase Coffee.
