Around The World
Tim Gun as a Marvel action hero? You read that right. In the debut issue of "Models Inc" - a mini series not unlike "Charlie's Angels" set in the fashion world, Tim Gunn jumps into Iron Man's suit of armor to save a fashion exhibition from evildoers. And just what does Mr. Gunn think about this? “I’m not certain of the particulars of how I’ll be portrayed, but I’m really excited about it... To say I’m a character in a comic book is wild!” I suppose it'll all be fine if Phil Jimenez, the comic book artist, could just "make it work". Claudia wrote about it here.

The drama between Woody Allen and American Apparel has finally come to a close with the latter agreeing to pay Woody $5 million (!!!) in damages for the unauthorised use of his image on a billboard advertisement. The image in question? A picture taken from the director's film "Annie Hall", erected in a few location in only two cities.
But what would American Apparel be without some surrounding controversies eh? At least with Dov Charney at helm...
Embroidered, sequined, fringed and animal prints - exotic Morocco and Native American Indian inspired they certainly are. Kate Moss 10th collection for Topshop has just dropped in stores, well not yet in this part of the world - but I look forward to getting my hands on these two vests...
