TiCopycat: Eka N.
Meet Malaysian fashionista, Eka Nazhwa (Eka N.) who not only is one of my favourite Malaysians to watch on Lookbook, but she was also Project Muff Stit’s Tee Up contest winner last year! Her casual androgynous look makes her stand out with such creativity and flair in a crowd. Let’s take a closer look at this talented miss :)
I love this look of Eka’s - stylish, practical and trendy all at once. This is a perfect multi-purpose outfit which can be taken easily from day to night with the help of layering and the right accessories. Add a tailored cropped jacket to make the outfit look more formal, or don it with a casual tee (we’ve included lots of choices!) to give it a more “I just threw this on without looking at myself in the mirror” look!

This particular pair of harem pants Eka is wearing is a hot item from Velvet Ribbon which has since sold out, so we’ve sourced some other alternatives :) Jumpsuits are still hot too. To wear them as pants, simply fold the top bit into the waist section, or just wear a top over it.

For Eka’s next look, I want to try to capture the slouchy, trendy, Alexander Wang look which seems to be so hot on the streets right now. One thing I particularly adore about this look is that it’s extremely versatile – it can be worn in the cold, tempremental Melbourne weather (with a thick scarf) or it can be worn in sweltering Malaysian heat as well.

DIY TIP! Buy plain leggings and slash them yourself – it’s cheaper and can be a fun project with a few girlfriends in front of the TV one boring weekday night :)
