I personally think that one of the best ways to express ourselves is through a .eally funky tee paired easily with skinny jeans, leggings, or a miniskirt. Check out My Favouritees – an online store selling a wide array of graphic tees and other apparel.

I had a little Q+A with the man (yes, he’s a guy) behind this site to get a little inside scoop:

Do share with us the story behind MyFavouritees. Was it something you always wanted to do or a random idea that translated into an online business?

It wasn't something I always wanted to do but I always bought and wore T-shirts. I really like to wear statement tees (which some people really hate!) and friends and sometimes even strangers would laugh or comment about my tees and ask where I bought it. So I figured, why not sell since there is actually a demand. So that’s how MyFavouritees started.

How long since you started this online business and who is behind it? Are you a one-man show?

I started in April last year so it's over a year now. I basically do the running around, my girlfriend helps me model the clothes (which you can see on the website), and my mum helps me at bazaars.

Where do you get the shirts? You have a really funky range available.

I don't design the clothes myself. I source them from overseas and I personally will go and choose the designs myself.

I notice that you also have dresses/tops besides your tees. Any plans to sell even a wider variety of products?

Yes, I have dresses and tops too. In the future, I would probably sell collar t-shirts and maybe shorts.

Do you entertain personal request or custom make tees?

I actually have a lot of requests to do that, but no, not now. Maybe in the future as I plan to design my own tees too.

What's the price range for all your items?

Tees are all at RM29.90. Dresses ranges from RM29.90 to RM59.90.

How would you describe your personal fashion style?

Jeans and t-shirt!!

Care to share your favourite shops and which country you love to shop in?

For stores, Topman and Pull and Bear. Other countries would be Bangkok (Thailand), and Hong Kong

Finally, what advice would you give to budding online shoppers interested in opening an online shop site like yours?

DON'T GIVE UP!!
