Thanks To Everyone @ Chic Charity!
I dropped by the WAO centre today to meet up with Projects and Admin Manager Annie Varghese to pass her the money TiC together with the other vendors raised at our last Chic Charity.
I thought that I'd be passing the money and running off, but I ended up sitting there and talking to Annie for an hour! She told me of WAO's plight of almost having to shut down one of their three centres because of lack in funding, and the aggressive fund-raising activities they'll be having in the coming weeks.
She pointed out interesting knick knacks and a whole box of brand new shoes courtesy of a boutique that closed down, sitting on one side of the room. That, some branded clothes and a bunch of other donated items will be sold at their Jumble Sale which will be taking place on 4th and 5th of March.
Everything will be sold at very cheap and all money goes to their funding so be sure to make your way to Amcorp Mall then!
