Chic Shop: The Polo Boutique
The Singapore Polo Club has opened an equestrian-themed boutique along their lush, tropical grounds on Mount Pleasant Road.
Better known for its illustrious membership and prestigious tournaments (that have been attended by royalty, dignatries, socialites and distinguished members of society), the Polo Club has since combined luxury retail and its love for all things Equesterian in The Polo Boutique.
And it's gorgeous!
The interior, which used to be a former squash court, is beautiful and spacious with its high-beamed ceilings and classic theme. Shelves and cases line the walls while cow skins and leather draperys hang all over the place. I especially liked the shiny hardwood floors as it was very reminiscient of old England. I felt like I was stepping into an enormous gentleman's wardrobe!
The retail store stocks notable luxury labels like Shanghai Tang, Jules from Just Equestrian, TianBlu, Horka and fashionable leather bags from Argentinian brand Claudia Atencio.
Here's Fly Entertainment Artistes Bryan Gamboa and Elizabeth Tan looking very chic in their high boots and blazer.
And what's a Polo shop without polo shirts? The signature Singapore Polo Club's jerseys are also available for sale with a wide range of colours, from lime green to bold red.
Polo or riding tack and equipment from Saddlery & SK Polo and Equestrian-themed greeting cards, mugs and souvenirs can also be found in-store. So if you're a horse lover or simply a fashionista looking for English chic, do swing by. And you can always check out the horses while you're there!
