A Different Sort of Super
Stumbled unto this site called Supermarket that supports only original designers and aren’t we all fans of that.
They’re not super cheap but you gotta give the designers credit ey? ![]()
Featuring pretty things from jewelry to prints and baby clothes, Supermarket will have you surfing and cooing even if you don’t intend to buy anything.
Check out these leet pop-out earrings by designer Melissa Borrell (i’ve never heard of her before this, have you? God i love the internet!)
Upon Googling her, she’s been featured by CoolHunting.com and ArtNewsChannel.net before so she’s no newbie to some coverage.
Borrell’s specialty seems to be her pop-out accessories that come attached to the metal plate its cut out from. All you have to do is pop it out carefully yourself, attach the pieces to enclosed ear hooks and wala! You were part of the design process.

Check out more of Melissa Borrell’s designs.

Also stumbled upon swizzlet, who casts strange vintage pieces she finds in sterling silver.
This here’s a bird earring made from vintage cocktail picks. I’m looking at them thinking, “How do you wear them again?”

Below are fan-shaped earrings that have been cast from vintage plastic beads. Wha..!?
One oxydised to deep black, and the other to a bright silver.
