Called U.O.X Play by Celcom, the first in this series of events will be launched on the 15th of November at Cap Square – that’s next Saturday!
Urbanscapes Marketplace: June 28, 2008
There’ll be something for everyone at U.O.X. Play’s "Block Party" at Cap Square and, better yet, it’s free! You can shop for threads at the marketplace, grab a bite from CapSquare’s own F&B outlets, experience the quirky art of design collectives and have some fun listening to hip hop, b-boy, DJ and acoustic favourites like: Joe Flizzow, Stylustiks, The Rebel Scum, Yuna, KokoKaina, Isaac Entry, DJ Goldfish, Arabyrd, Paolo Delfino, Bo and Rashdan Harith.
Like KLue’s Urbanscapes earlier this year, the marketplace will be hosted by Tongue in Chic with collaboration with Threadszoo. Besides your favourite vendors, there will be a new addition to the flea market…
Chic Charity!
Donate pre-loved or brand new clothes to the TiC Chic Charity booth at the U.O.X. PLAY centre. Every piece you donate will be put up for sale at RM5-15 and all proceeds go to the Women’s Aid Organization (WAO). And by all, we mean all – every single cent. Of course, everyone’s encouraged to shop there too! Simply drop the items off at participating boutiques or bring them on that day itself.
