Last Thursday, Jeen and I went to Goddezz at Solaris, Mont Kiara for a sneak peek at Rebellz’s new arrivals. A new online boutique headed by Jean and Ju, Rebellz specifically caters to the Malaysian and Australian market. As such, prices are quoted in AUD, but don’t feel too intimidated, they can be approached in RM too.
Goddezz started to feel like a can of ultra-packed sardines – we got pushed and shoved quite a fair bit! The crowd settled down once the emcee for the night came out to officially kick start the show.
The showcased line consisted mostly of ruffled satin and chiffon tucked into high waisted skirts and tapered pants.
Most details were ruffles that were predominantly featured in black, white, gold, and sudden bursts of jarring colours; and geometric prints on rompers, playsuits, short dresses, tops and high waisted bottoms.
Halfway through, there was an intermission during which local rapper Caprice performed a short set of two songs.
He was accompanied by masked dancers ala the Jabbawockeez!
And then the show was on again, this time taking a more casual turn.
Runway pieces aside, lots of fashionable eye candy was spotted trotting about, so being the fashion hounds we are, started to snap away to share some with you!
