ModelCo, the premium cult beauty brand from Australia, takes the modern woman to the next level with its chic and sophisticated must-have beauty products! For the year 2009, ModelCo officially made me their brand spokesperson, endorser, chief make-up artist and trainer in the Philippines.
A true honour for myself, as any make-up artist always dreams of representing world-renowned brands!
As part of the launch, I conducted a couple of makeovers at Beauty Bar, Greenbelt 5 to avid shoppers and make-up enthusiasts.
At the same time, ModelCo also unleashed new colours for eyes, lips and cheeks with “Big City, Bright Lights”. Who needs a rest room when you’ve got actual LED lights in your own hands for quick and easy touch-ups!
ModelCo is actually the brainchild of Shelley Barrett - a modeling agent who listened to her models’ woes and came up with products that soon became must haves in every beauty junkie’s makeup kit.
Face it, as a model myself, I know what products actually work! So when ModelCo approached me, I wanted to study all its products beforehand to effectively represent the brand as a firm believer in all it has to offer.

The LASHWAND Heated Eyelash Curler is a battery operated eyelash curler. An innovative way to give you perfectly curled lashes in seconds, minus the “check mark” effect. Great for “refreshing” eyelash extensions and for those who wish to touch up their lashes without the fear of pulling out their lashes from the mascara sticking to the curler! Not only that, it can reach all the way inside and outside of your lash rims which most eyelash curlers can’t.
TAN Airbrush in a Can lets both city men and women channel their inner beach gods and godesses with just a few sprays of its hydrating tanning mist anytime of the year. My guy friends are secret fans of these cos they look more toned and chiseled without hitting the gym, haha!
Because its formulation reacts to your skins melatonin, you achieve a customized tan that suits your skin tone. It’s safe, sunless and non-orangey, unlike traditional lotion formulations. Being very fair skinned, looking tanned and toned without sun damage is simply amazing! This formulation is transfer resistant after 15 minutes of application and can last up to 4-7 days!

Now, if you want the bronzed look but want to easily wash it off at the end of the day, this is the product for you which I use when I host events or just wish to change my look for special events: Bronze Airbrush Sun. It’s a bronzing spray that has shimmer!
This is THE product I highly recommend! I looked tanned, toned and glowing after spraying it over my make-up and whatever exposed parts of my body. For the matte formulation that easily washes off, try the Bronze Airbrush Sun FACE, which can be used for the body as well.
If you’re a fan of MAC Full Coverage Foundation (which has now been phased out) or Shu Uemura’s Face Architect Foundation (full coverage formulations) ModelCo’s Fluidsplash 3-in-1 Foundation is your new best friend! I’ve sincerely been such a fan since I discovered it. Not only is it oil-free with SPF properties, but it also has a concealer and eye base on its lid.
It helps bring out the true pigment of your eye shadows and helps it stay on for hours. Tried and tested my at photo shoots and weddings 
The coverage is buildable so if you prefer a sheer coverage, it’s up to you how much to use.
