I have quite a liking for unique clothing and I am sure most of you do too. Bumping into someone who wear exactly the same outfit when we are strolling around the city can’t be very pleasant sometimes, can it? But now that Metrox from Jakarta is here in ION Orchard, we all can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

Metrox is a multi-label boutique founded by Singapore entrepreneur Freddie Beh, who is an interior design graduate from La Sale College and also a true believer in metrosexual lifestyle, thus the name of the store. Driven by this popular urban rage, Beh is determined to bring in international brands that are unusual and most importantly fresh to the local market, creating a fashion trend that is novel to many.

Occupying a floor space of 1,819 square feet, the Metrox store in ION carries a number of casual street-wear and denim labels such as Wornfree, True Religion and Evisu for men and women. All prices range from $49.90 for a T-shirt, $129 for a pair of jeans and $191.42 for a pair of sneakers.  We can also anticipate the arrival of two leading garment and footwear brands, namely Tier Zero by Adidas and Pinnacle by Nike in the store.

Apart from these global brands, Beh plans to include his self-designed green clothing line, that is One Earth in Metrox as well. One Earth is being set forth with the noble intention of fulfilling his corporate social responsibility and two percent of the sales will be directly contributed to the Indonesian Orangutan Foundation.

Metrox can be found at ION Orchard, #B3-52.
