Originally from Singapore, Iora first started a shop-in-shop counter at Isetan, The Gardens back in September 2007. Due to its success in the Malaysian market they decided to open a flagship store and threw a grand opening earlier today.

Every month, Iora presents 80 designs from their Singapore-based designers who research the latest fashion influences, fabric trends and colours. So customers can expect something fresh every week.

Official store opening by Malaysia’s store representative and Singapore partner Ms Jayne Koh (She was really friendly and down to earth till we took pictures together and chatted.)

The event was hosted by the ever-poised Bernie Chan.
For Iora’s Summer collection, their colour palette includes sparkling lime, lavender and romantic rose, complemented with natural tones. Pieces are made from comfortable materials such as cotton, sheer chiffon and texture twill, and have elements like ruffles, frills, and detailed belts.

This is my favourite look of the bunch.

Iora has 10 stores in Singapore, 14 franchise stores in Philipines and Brunei, and 6 stores in Malaysia. This brings a total of 30 stores in South East Asia alone.
