The award-winning Adidas by Stella McCartney collection debuted its Spring/Summer 2010 collection at Teeq, Lot 10 rooftop last Friday. Against a backdrop of the KL skyline, models donning pretty pastel parasols strolled through the rooftop garden in the latest Stella McCartney SS 2010 collection. It was definitely one unique fashion show as the unexpected rain didn’t dampened the mood but rather enhanced it. Guests there had the opportunity to admire the sexy silhouettes, vibrant colours and feminine prints through the light ‘spring’ showers.
The special preview was held exclusively for celebrities, selected Adidas customers and media. Prior to the fashion show, guests were treated to a sunset vegetarian tea – very Stella McCartney style, and enjoyed the soulful sounds of Malaysian songbird Atilia. Some familiar faces that made an appearance were Adidas fans such as Amber Chia, Aishah Sinclair, Ninie Ahmad and Yasmin Yusuf.

The Stella McCartney Spring/Summer 2010 collection continues to re-define and challenge traditional sport silhouettes by introducing triathlon and cycling to the distinctive functional fashion range. The collection remains the only line available for women that is a true fusion of performance and style – combining cutting-edge adidas technologies with Stella’s unique designs together with 100% organically grown cotton apparel pieces and footwear using sustainable materials.
The new triathlon range features the sleek and sexy high-performance Tri Performance Swimsuit made from shiny finish functional polyamide and featuring beautiful feminine details with seductive sheer fabric in a deep ‘V’ shape on the chest and on the back.
This season’s best-selling Running collection continues to feature standout design details with a bold, ornamental ‘Stella’ print.
The collection also features the performance padded tights, the glove, cap and the Imbris shoe.
The new cycling line features tight, sexy silhouettes; highlights include the Performance Zip Tee with a vibrant zebra print graphic and unique feminine rouched sleeves.
